William Hoppe, MD Bill Hoppe is a medical doctor with over 25 years of experience in the practice of psychiatry. He has worked in private practice and in community mental health centers in the U.S., and has also taught at the Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology of Biola University. Bill has been a counselor of cross-cultural workers since 1988. In addition to many short-term trips to the field, he spent 3 years in the Philippines, representing the Counseling Department of the Summer Institute of Linguistics. Since 2003, Bill has lived with his family in Chiang Mai, where he provides care for cross-cultural workers from all over Asia. Bill and his wife, Lea Ann, have five children. Three children currently attend Azusa Pacific University in the U.S. and two attend Chiang Mai International School.
