Judith R. Long, MA
Judy and Bob Long moved to Thailand in September 2011. They have been married 45 years and have 4 grown children and 15 grandchildren. Judy's cross-cultural living experience includes many years in Taiwan and Vietnam. She has worked in a children's psychiatric ward and in general practice, and for several years has provided cross-cultural training and de-briefing with those working in Asian countries, often traveling to visit Kingdom workers on the field. She sees her role as one to let people talk to themselves through her as she uses appropriate questions and guided conversation to encourage each person to make decisions and live in a healthy way emotionally, physically and spiritually. She delights in honoring each person as someone who, regardless of age, is precious, whose life has meaning, and who can make personal decisions with intelligence and insight. Judy is able to counsel in English and Mandarin Chinese.
